- "Desperation" starts shooting sometime in September. It is scheduled to be a three hour
movie instead of mini-series, airing sometime next year.
- Stephen King is currently writing a new book, and because the pressure is off, he is taking his
time. We all knew that he couldn't retire, he has too many great ideas swimming around in his head. He has set
no release date for this book, and hasn't even talked about it's story line.
- I've heard lately about a remake of "IT". I agree with a remake, as long as it sticks more
to the book. I hate when they change the plot for ratings. Just from avid King fans, they would have enough ratings
to make them a lot of money. I liked the mini, but could see definate improvements. I'll keep you posted.
- The Talisman, wich was supposed to begin filming this September,
has yet again lost it's director. Now the filming has been put on hold indefinately. Some of you might know that
Steven Spielberg bought the rights to the book years ago. It's just been so hard to keep a director on this movie, it
seems that their are definate arguments about the script. Personally I think they should stick to the book, it was awesome.

As you know, Stephen King doesn't do book signings
anymore. Hopefully that will change in the future, but if you're looking for one of your books to be signed, you might
